Day 13 - Lucky for Some!

Got of to a good start as I had my Lino print making class, which I had done my demonstration for, so all the pupils started to print their own, some of them were amazing, so there was a great buzz in the room, and it was a fun, satisfying and messy lesson, to the sound of 'The Buena Vista Social Club', just how an Art lesson should be! Then Stu (deputy head) came down as he had asked me to make a ceramic cross, as a leaving present for our current headmaster. I had an idea of making a composite cross in bass relief with all the buildings from the school sticking out of it. He like the idea and so I said I would do it for no less than 1 million won (600 pounds) so bit of pocket money! Although, it is a bit daunting as it is quite an ambitious design, I am not a ceramicist, and I only really have one chance for it to survive the kiln! Then I got my second commission of the day, from a parent who had won a charity auction for me to do a child portrait, the winning bid was 500,000 won which is quite cheap but for a good cause, he asked me if I would also be keen to paint his wife. I told him the auction price was exceptionally cheap, so it would cost him 1 million won, and he said can we meet in the middle so we settled on 750,000, more pocket money for Moi! Anyways afternoon went pretty slowly as I knew I was meeting Hijee after work, but was not too long until I met her in Sinchon, she had come straight from work so she was looking all elegant and hot! I had also forgotten how cute her voice sounded. We went for a Mexican, which was a bit weird as we both thought about going to the same place beforehand. (There must be over 700 restaurants in Sinchon!) We then went to see The new Captain America, which was pretty entertaining and much better than the new spiderman. Walked home feeling content and fell asleep like a baby! Hahahaha!
