Day 37 Nami Island

Wow what a stunning view to wake up to, another beautiful day and the bed was so comfortable. We hung about for a while at the hotel and left around midday, to get some breakfast. We went back to where the death slide was and had some brunch, the area is famous for a spicy chicken Barbecue dish so we had that in a nice restaurant by the river. We got out tickets to the death slide but we had to wait like an hour or so, which was fine as its such a beautiful place to sit around, so we had some coffee and Ice cream and had some laughs. Especially when Heeji dropped her Ice cream 3 seconds after receiving it! We went and had a look at the bungee jump, it was only a small one but I think I had a bit of a hangover and didnt really feel like I could handle it.

Then we went up to the zipline lift, Heeji had a few Heeji Beejis but I think she was very brave about it. Its an 80 metre platform and 940 m long. we had to wait a little while but it was great fun and wasnt really scary at all.

A sweet Heeji Beeji!

When we got to the Island we had a little wonder around and looked at some Ostriches, and they have lots of sculptures. We then went and hired a tandem bike so we could do a tour of the whole island we found a lovely little spot away from everybody and had some beers, and dipped our feel in the river. Again it was another moment we both agreed we never wanted to leave, but we only had an hour with the tandem so we carried on exploring the island.

We had a hot dog and a beer and then found a little garden where we lay down and watched some courting butterflies, then it was time to get the ferry home, which was sad. The whole weekend was amazing and cant really sum it up here particularly all the laughs we had. The whole thing was like some sort of amazing dream, we headed back to Seoul and back to reality, in the form of Pizza Hut!
