Buddha's Birthday! - Woke up and texted a few people to see what they were up to as was a beautiful day and had to get out. The went to meet Vicky, Michelle and Mitchell in Insadong, where there was lots of excitement and festivities for Buddhas Birthday. We had a nice Japanese lunch, Michelle and Mitchell went home but Vicky and I decided to walk round the place gardens as the weather was so beautiful. We found a beautiful place to sit on the grass in the sunshine, out of the wind. It was great to catch up with Vicky as her and Michelle are my bezzies in Korea from the beginning but the past few months I havent seen them so much. So I updated her on my love life and we had some jokes. Then we went for a beer in the last drops of sunshine. I met Sohee for dinner, who was my first girlfriend in Korea, who I hadnt seen since feburary. She couldnt understand the concept of being friends, but we shared some lovely memories and she was my best friend in Korea for 3 months. I was worried it might be a bit weird, but actually we had a good laugh and it was nice to see her.
Anyways another lovely day, back to work tomorrow, may have to try a bit harder to find happy elements! But Im sure Ill manage! I said to Vicky yesterday how happy I was, and I know it may just be that life is pretty sweet at the moment, but I do think this blog thing is great, normally I probably would do something happy everyday, but its the fact you cannot have a single day when you don't do anything fun, and I suppose writing about it does make you appreciate the positives!
